A smile makeover at Maison BE is a unique treatment plan of cosmetic and restorative dental procedures that will aid in improving the look of your teeth — and the overall health of your mouth. A smile makeover could consist of teeth whitening (in-office or at-home treatments), veneers, orthodontics to straighten your teeth, bonding and contouring, and replacing metal fillings with composite resin. Your smile makeover could also include restorative procedures, such as crowns or bridges, to fill in a missing tooth or teeth. Am I a Candidate for a Smile Makeover?
A smile makeover may help if you would like to enhance the appearance of your teeth or if you want several cosmetic procedures to create a beautiful new smile. Dr. Katz or Dr. Glazarov will personalize your smile makeover treatment to meet your concerns and aesthetic goals. Your custom plan may include teeth bleaching to correct discoloration and stains on your enamel. Other cosmetic treatments that could be in your plan are veneers or bonding and contouring to improve the length and shape of your teeth and mask minor openings between teeth. Restorations (bridges and crowns) may be used to replace a missing tooth or teeth. At Maison BE, we offer custom restorations to ensure they match your natural teeth for a seamless look.
Before you have any cosmetic treatments, we will need to ensure that your gums and teeth are healthy. If you have any restrictive oral health problems such as dental malocclusion or periodontal disease, then this will have to be treated first.
What Is Included in A Smile Makeover?
Prior to performing cosmetic treatments, your dentist will examine your teeth and gums, followed by providing your personalized smile makeover treatment to fit your goals and concerns. Every smile makeover is customized so we will discuss exactly what to expect during your treatment, such as how many visits you might need. Our team can help you plan your appointments to complete each of the procedures in your makeover. Local anesthesia is often used during dental procedures, but other sedation methods can be used to help you relax if you have dental anxiety. As soon as your smile makeover is complete, you should keep up the health and appearance of your teeth with a regular home oral care regimen (both brushing and flossing daily). Have been looking for a new dentist since i moved to the city and after some research and a TikTok post(haha) i decided to try out Maison Be. To start off the appointment making process was so smooth for a new patient, didn't have to call just made an appointment online; the front desk staff is very very organized, so welcoming and kind, very short wait and even offered me a beverage while i waited. The hygienist(completely forgot her name but i believe it starts with a J) and Dr (Ellen Katz) were both so sweet and personable. They both made me feel so comfortable with the amenities provided AND checked in with me while they were checking and cleaning my teeth. I really appreciate the service and visit I received because as a person of color I feel a lot of offices aren't as welcoming and genuine about the care they give me. So glad I found my new dentist! Thank you so much!!!
The doctor has the most personable approach, remembering me every time. Had my first ever filling (I was nervous) and they made me so comfortable. It also was super quick and efficient. As a former dentist hater/avoider, they have truly turned my views on the dentist around.
Dr. Ellen is the best. She had a comprehensive understanding of what I needed to get taken care of and she provided a plan that would work effectively to ensure I get the results I want. She was extremely attentive and performed every procedure smoothly with great results and zero pain! I recommend her for all dental needs and trust her to do what’s best for the patient because of her vast experience and academic knowledge. How long will my smile makeover last?
The vast majority of components of smile makeovers are intended to be permanent, such as implants, crowns, and fillings. With crowns and fillings, there is a slight chance they may need to be replaced if damaged over time. Some other parts, like teeth whitening, will give long-lasting results but may benefit from occasional touch-ups.
How many appointments will my makeover take?
The number of appointments needed to complete your smile makeover depends on a number of factors. As each makeover is highly customized to each of our patient's specific needs, the length of time needed to achieve the makeover is variable. In your initial consultation here at Maison BE Dental Studio, we will discuss your projected treatment plan as well as a tentative timeline before you achieve the smile of your dreams.
Is this procedure purely a cosmetic one?
There may be cosmetic components to your smile makeover. However, a large number of our patients who pursue this treatment are in need of restorative dentistry. If you have had decay, trauma, or damage to your mouth and find that both the function and feel of your smile are affected, a smile makeover may be just what you need.
